ADASTRA’08 is a National level technical Symposium conducted by IEEE Students’ branch of SNIST. The word `ADASTRA` is a combination of two latin words: "AD"- Towards and "ASTRA"- Stars. The IEEE-SNIST Student's Branch of SNIST is one of the largest and the most active student branches in the state of Andhra Pradesh. We, at IEEE-SNIST have always believed in reaching out to the stars in our constant pursuit of excellence and via this symposium we hope that this spirit percolates through one and all present at ADASTRA. ADASTRA’08 hosts a large pool of events aimed at boosting the technical and managerial skills of the students and provides them with an opportunity to showcase their conceptual depth, innovative ideas and thoughts. The Events at ADASTRA prove to be the ultimate test of grit, knowledge and skill. If you have these, flaunt it at any of the Events and win fabulous prizes. The central theme of the symposium is " information exchange leading to thought enhancement".
